2017 :: 40/52

Al had off Monday and Tuesday this week. Monday morning after breakfast, unpacking, and playing a little, we all ran to kohl's and menards then had lunch at our favorite Chinese buffet. then I took a nap and then T fell asleep for nap. once I was up, Al ran to the grocery store. Trevor had tumbling again.

the weather was pretty nice the beginning of this week with rain the end of the week, so we got outside for walks and play time as much as we could. it was really humid until it rained too. Wednesday morning we played at Jodi's house for the morning. trevor did great at soccer on Wednesday despite not having a nap and running around with his new friends for the 10 minutes prior to soccer starting. he had a better teacher this week (final week).

Thursday we went to a couple garage sales where we actually found some stuff for T and baby girl. when we got home, we walked to a smaller park near our house, played then picked some leaves on the walk home.

Friday night we went to the volleyball game with matt and the kids. T, Cam and Chloe got to play with volleyballs in the open court and run around the whole time so he was sweaty and tired.

Saturday morning we got stuff done around the house until swimming lessons at noon. T has 3 kids in his class total (still parent child so I go in with him) and they're all around T's age so they did lots and did great! after swimming lessons, we came home, took showers, ate lunch then drove up to mom's house. Trevor slept the whole way up. once we were there we played with uncle and nana for a bit, then we headed over to manda, johnny, eva, and elouise's house for the night. we had lots of fun playing with them outside, eating pizza, and then playing games inside, too.

sunday morning I went to a half off day at a consignment sale, then came back to mom's, where T, mom and I drove over to a park by my papa's house. uncle met us there before his haircut. on the way back from the park, we stopped at papa's house to see him and auntie lynne quickly. then back to mom's for homemade pizza, nap, and then I had softball at 6 & 7. it was a beautiful night for ball, we won both games, had lots of laughs, but it took a toll on my hips and pubic bone. I was hurting from the first time I ran the bases but I hit pretty good. towards the end of the second game, I dove back to 2nd base while running and regretted it immediately. it was just reactionary but I shouldn't have done it. I was then worried about the baby the rest of the night so on my drive back to mom's house I called the midwife on call and she said the baby will be fine but that I shouldn't do that again (yep!) and I was going to be sore from it. dummy!

Monday morning, after breakfast T and I went to trader joe's and then up to my chiropractor where we both got a much needed adjustment! my neck and pubic/hip areas were awful but felt better immediately. I was already sore from running and diving so i'm not sure if I got sore from the adjustment too or not, but it was a good time for it. then we headed back to eau Claire.

2017 :: 39/52 :: week 19 gender ultrasound

Monday night trevor had his first night of his tumbling class. he had fun. they don't allow parents in the room during class so I had to spy from outside the room. :) he got to do lots of stretching and warm up games, forward rolls, balance beam forward, sideways and backwards, and attempted one cartwheel. he was pretty good other than occasionally following the rouge kid running around the room instead of standing in line, but he went back to the line once the teacher told him to.

Tuesday we had our ultrasound. mom came down to watch trevor since Al was coming with me and the ultrasound was at 9 and the midwife appointment was at 1020a. the ultrasound was long (I had to pee 3 times within it) but baby is measuring right on track and from what the midwife got (the radiologist hadn't read it yet) everything was normal. then at the end of the ultrasound we found out babyO is a girl! so excited but kind of scared too. :) once the tech was out of the room, Al said, I told you so. :) we got pictures from the ultrasound, measurements, and then walked over to the midwife area to wait for that appointment. we got there at 950 and were able to get right in and see the midwife right away even though our appt. wasn't until 1020. it was a quick easy appointment where she told us the measurements were great/normal for baby, we listened to the heartbeat (150) and then I got a flu shot in order to hopefully avoid getting influenza this time around.

then Al and I went to target to pick up some household things, buy our first baby girl item (headbands), and buy a toy or 2 for trevor. we ended up getting him a baby girl doll for the reveal/telling him, a Frankenstein to paint, and a cars coloring book. we got home, wrapped his toys, told trevor there was a baby in my belly (to which he said, "where?"), asked him if he thought it was a girl or a boy (he said girl), and had him open his gifts. Trevor, mom and grandpa peter all got to know it was a girl when he pulled out the doll. we then took pictures of T with the doll and told our close family and friends. later that afternoon, I posted on facebook that T was getting a baby sister (which also announced I was pregnant on social media). mom stayed that night so after nap, we went to the apple orchard, then had dinner at olive garden. Al had training 3-7 pm.

Wednesday morning mom left to go work, Al had to work at 11am, so T and I walked to meet Jodi and the kids after they dropped cam off for school. we walked back to Jodi's house to play until 11 when Jodi had to leave for volleyball. we walked back home, played outside in the back for a while, then went in for lunch and nap. after nap, T had soccer again. it was a great night for soccer!

Thursday was prep and packing for our weekend at the cabin, but we did go to the children's museum in the morning with Jodi, chloe, graham, jenny, kourtlyn, jake, kade & Kinsley. T and I left early Friday morning for mom's house, picked her up, and headed for uncle jimmy's cabin. we stopped in motley at our usual park and then had lunch at dairy queen. we got to uncle jimmy's about 2ish and uncle Ronnie and auntie marlene were there. ron and marlene headed back to Ronnie's cabin after a bit, but marlene came back later for supper and hanging out. maren, nick, tula and baby etta got there just before dinner. it was gorgeous on Friday so we spent all our time outside and on the deck until dark. trevor slept great because he didn't have a nap.

Saturday was still nice out but super windy. we pulled the dock out, played in the leaves, went for a walk, took cute pics of the kids in their flannels, played, the kiddos took naps, ate, played some cards, auntie marlene came over for the afternoon, etc. it was a good day, even tho it was so windy. T took over 1.5 hours to fall asleep at bedtime when we were all super tired and wanted to go to bed.

sunday it rained pretty much all day. we packed up and drove to mom's in the rain. once home we learned that softball had been canceled so after supper, T and I drove home to eau Claire in some rain. it was Al's Friday and he got off work at 730p so we got to see him before we all went to bed.

2017 :: 38/52

Trevor's fever went away Monday night but then when I bathed him I saw bites on his foot and he had bumps on his chin and cheek too, so I deduced that he had hand-foot-mouth disease. but he felt better after Monday and supposedly it's only contagious during the fever or more.

Wednesday trevor had soccer again and he did great again. more games and dribbling and scoring. it was a beautiful night for soccer. it got hot again the end of the week and the weekend, like high 80s and humid, so we stayed inside a lot. but Al did work on the windows a little bit each day that his work schedule allowed and Thursday we played outside with him. Trevor painted some more rocks, played with his cars/'chines in the rocks/dirt, and then had a car wash for them.

Friday morning T and I went over to Jodi's house to run through the sprinkler/swim with the kiddos. then friday night we went over to matt and Jodi's house for a pizza/game/movie night with them, their kids, Kassie, jake, kade, Kinsley, leah, jedd and their 4 kids. leah's youngest cole is 4 so he and trevor like playing together. it was a good night and Al came over for a bit after work before we left for bedtime.

Saturday trevor and I didn't get out of our pajamas until supper time when matt, Jodi, cam and chloe came over. we ordered Chinese food and played games. once Al was home from work, we went downstairs and introduced the kids to super Mario brothers and Mario kart!! it was fun, the kids enjoyed Mario, but we stayed up too late. :) trevor didn't get to bed until 1015pm...

sunday morning grandpa peter came again to help with the windows and then T and I headed up to mom's at 11am. we watched the Vikings game while eating lunch, then T went down for nap during which uncle and nana came home from their gallivanting. we had softball at 6 & 7 thankfully so it could cool off a little and the sun went down. we played the team that our friends are on so it was fun and we won both. Al, Gpa Peter and matt got all the windows in!

Monday morning T and I drove home early from a rainy, cool st paul to a hot, humid eau Claire. Al and Gpa Peter were already working on the windows and by nap time they had all the outdoor trim on!!!
