Tuesday we dropped Eva off at school at 9 then went to the savage indoor sports center and met Maren and Tula there. they had 3 bouncy houses that Trevor and Elouise went back and forth between the whole time. then back to manda's for nap (although T didn't nap again). then we picked up eva from school.
Wednesday after dropping off Eva at school, we met kris and colton at the mcdonald's playland and had lunch there. then back to manda's for nap when T actually napped and so did El! I had to wake him up to go get eva from school. once manda was home from work, we had dinner at mom's house then drove home to see Al and sleep in our own beds. Al was off Wed-Sunday this week!
Thursday morning T and I went to Jodi's to play until lunch while Al ran to the grocery store. during nap I ran some errands and packed for our weekend at the waterpark with matt, Jodi, cam and chloe!
Friday (St Patrick's Day) was more prep and packing for the weekend, lunch, a movie and then we left for warrens Wisconsin (a little over an hour away) at about 2. we rented out a cabin/villa that we shared with the neighb's and then Jodi's parents for Saturday night too. we stopped at the gas station, then not even 5 minutes into the drive and trevor fell asleep!!! he slept the whole way! we checked in and then found our cabin; it was huge!! it had a garage and tons of space and beds. we got unpacked, helped the neighb's unpack and got settled in a bit as the waterpark didn't open until 5. we fed the kids a little bit then got ready and drove to the waterpark; it wasn't too far from our cabin, maybe a block or so but too cold to walk. we had a blast at the waterpark, ordered food from the restaurant for supper, went back to change, the boys picked up supper and we ate. kids watched a movie then went to bed, and al, matt, Jodi, & I stayed up for a couple hours playing cards.
Saturday morning we had breakfast and relaxed a bit waiting for Jodi's parents, nana Debbie & papa dan-o as well as Kassie and Kade to get there. K & K just stayed for the day. once they got there we fed the kids a little lunch and headed out to the water park. the waterpark had a kids area for littler kids (trevor's age) which had 3 different levels/sizes of water slides (by the end of the weekend trevor was doing all of them by himself; where'd my baby go?), then had a 3-4 foot deep pool with basketball hoops in it, it had a wave pool that created waves every 15 minutes and that connected to the lazy river. it then had 2 big body water slides and 2 big tube water slides. we loved the tube slides! I went down many times with Jodi and matt and once with Camdyn. they also had 2 hot tubs, one of which had half of it outside (so cool!). we did all if many times!
we were back to the cabin by 130 Saturday afternoon to watch the badger basketball game while the kids watched a movie. I didn't sleep well so I was super tired and out of it and trevor was tired too. so after the badger game at about 4ish, everyone but us 3 went back to the water park. trevor ended up napping while I got some rest too. then they all came back and went to dinner at the attached restaurant; Al went with them but I was full and felt like T and I still needed some down time, so we had dinner at the cabin and watched a movie. we just hung out for a bit once everyone was back (Kass and Kade headed home) and then all went to bed by 1030.
sunday morning we had breakfast and some down time; Jodi's parents left and we slowly got packed up and cleaned up. then we went to check out and to the water park. trevor and chloe went down the 2 biggest slides in the kids area about 100 times! :) we finished in the outdoor hot tub then showered in the locker rooms before heading out to drive home. we stopped at foster, about 15 minutes from home, to have pizza for lunch with the neighb's. then home for a nap for T and Al while Jodi and I ran to our favorite store, the shed quick. it was a great, although exhausting weekend with great friends! lots of laughs!
sunday night was just movie night so we could rest and relax. then Monday morning our insurance inspector finally came to look at our roof but we won't know the results until later this week. Trevor and I went to Jodi's house to play outside with the kids for a bit then home for nap.
