2016 :: 49/52

the beginning of this week was cold and spent inside, not doing too much trying to keep Trevor from catching whatever his body & fevers were trying to fight off. we did some crafts, watched some Christmas movies and played. by Wednesday the fevers were gone and he just had a cough.

Thursday morning we went to the children's museum with Jodi, chloe, Easton, baby graham, Jodi's brother josh, and jake and kade come too. Trevor had lots of fun and mostly just played with Easton. he did 3 crafts downstairs in the crafting area including sand painting, which he did really well with. we left just before noon and I got a parking ticket. :( we came home and had lunch then did nap. after nap, we played until close to dark then packed up with all our winter gear and went to Irvine park to walk around all the Christmas lights. last year when we went, it was raining, so this year, although cold, was great! we didn't make it thru the whole park, but the lights and trees were beautiful. we then went to dinner at Chippewa family restaurant which was delicious and cheap! yay!

Friday morning, our house inspector, who's also a contractor, came over to check out why our bedrooms are so cold. he pretty much just confirmed our thoughts that our windows are old/horrible and the rooms are the furthest from the furnace. so we are going to plastic our bedroom windows, put a small infrared space heater in Trevor's room and save for new windows! we ran to menards to get a space heater for Trevor's room then came home and the Al and T played downstairs while I sewed some Christmas gifts. as of last weekend i'm done shopping for Christmas gifts, just have a couple more to make/get done! during nap, I ran to joann and a return at target and it was so busy! we're going to try to avoid going out/shopping until after Christmas. :) Al took a nap while Trevor did.

Saturday morning, all 3 of us drove up to mom's house. we made cookies in the morning and then the 3 of us went to the brown Christmas (my dad/grama's extended side) which was fun, everyone loved seeing Trevor of course. it started snowing while we were there (we ended up with more than 6 inches). after a couple hours we drove back to mom's house quick then went to shane and Jodi's house. Trevor slept almost the whole way to their house in the car; he hasn't slept in the car in like a year! Trevor and Luke had lots of fun playing, we ate dinner there, and then headed back to mom's house to sleep.

sunday morning we went outside to shovel and play in the snow then at 11 I went to my softball ladies friend nancy's birthday party with manda. Trevor had a bath, lunch and nap with nana and Al. once I got home about 3ish we packed up and drove home. most of the snow was off the highways so the driving was slow but ok. once home we unpacked quick, Al shoveled the driveway quick (our neighbor mark must have snow blowed our driveway at some point!) and we went to the neighb's house to watch the end of the packer game and have supper.

Monday morning Trevor and I ate breakfast, did some crafts & cleaning, then went outside to shovel and play in the snow.

2016 :: 48/52

this week we spent a lot of time at Jodi's house! :) Tuesday and Wednesday we went shopping first then went over there to play. Monday was Chloe's birthday and Tuesday was Matt's birthday. Monday night Trevor and I set up our Christmas tree and put out some more Christmas decorations. Tuesday night we went back to Jodi's house for matt's birthday dinner.

Thursday morning we went to the indoor sports center play time with Jodi and her new van with chloe, Amaya, Easton and kade inside. Trevor still loved the bouncy house and obstacle course, and the train sets. Al was off Thursday through Saturday this week, so Thursday night we all went over to Jodi's then packed in her van for dinner (also with Jake, Kassie, and Kade) at mancino's, our favorite sandwich place. then we drove out to the Christmas tree farm; we didn't get to go out into the fields to cut down trees but it was still fun. the other 2 families got trees but we decided against getting a real tree this year. we shopped at the gift shop cabin where the kids got free candy canes and glow in the dark bracelets. it was fun!

Friday was my brother's 30th birthday so all 3 of us went up to mom's before nap. we had tyler's birthday at mom's house where we ordered in green mill and had special k bars. it was a nice low key night.

Trevor still wasn't sleeping great, waking up crying at least twice a night sometimes more times than I could remember to count. he started getting some fevers especially while he was sleeping on Friday, got worse Saturday night and then all day sunday he had fevers.

Saturday mom, Al, T and I played outside for quite a while including a little nature walk behind mom's house. Tyler stopped over with his huge new dump truck for work. then during nap, mom and I went shopping in woodbury which was a bad idea; it was so busy! that night Al and I went over to matt and kunde's house for their annual ugly Christmas sweater party. it was a great night as usual with lots of laughter and good friends. we got home to mom's about 1230 and then I was awake until 5 am with Trevor being up off and on that whole time. when I went in to see what was wrong at 3 am, he was super hot. I ended up changing him into lighter jammies but he still said he was cold and wanted a blanket. Trevor slept in until almost 9 am and then we packed up to get going home because Al had to work at 3. it snowed Saturday night into sunday morning; it wasn't snowing in the cities when we left but was still snowing in eau Claire when we got here.

sunday we just bummed around the house, since T had a fever the whole day, so we watched movies, I tried to get him to eat some things and drink lots, and we played a little. Monday was pretty similar due to snow and wanting little boy to get better. he was fine all day and slept pretty good sunday night, but got a fever again Monday night after nap.
