twins

went to visit my softball friend meg and her almost 3 month old twins, skye and tyler. they are sooo cute and such good babies! and they are so wiggly :) we laid them down on the trampoline together and i loved their interactions!!! her are some shots i took.they're both smiling :) love it!!!!

turn of events...

had a bit of an abrubt turn of events yesterday at work. instead of being done at the end of august or beginning of september, i am now done as of friday... meaning i have no job, no plan, and no back up plan. i am a planner. which means this action caused a bit of grief, worry and panic. and by bit i mean ginormous amounts. i have come to realize worry and panic do not help matters and am attempting to keep my "positive pants" on. yesterday was tough but i made it through and did not completely break, so i am dealing with it.

i feel like i should be doing so much more with my life and that there's gotta be something more out there for me, i just don't know how to find it, or see it, or know what it is. i believe that once i know what "it" is that i can reach it, obtain it, accomplish it, accel at it. i just need to know what it is!!!!!!!!!

frustrating and uneasy, but i will deal with it, push through it and in the end, i will love it.

the hangover & role models

wow. again it's been a while since i have posted a blog and i have pics to put up but they are at home on my laptop. so i will dedicate this post to 2 of the funniest movies. i recently saw the hangover in the theatre (which is a huge deal, because i usually hate going to theaters) and last night i just watched role models. i always feel funny when i crack up out loud when i'm watching a movie alone, but i could NOT help it during role models. my "roommates" probably thought i was crazy. there are so many good quotes from these 2 movies, however, i don't remember very many.

had a great 4th weekend. celebrated a birthday, got to attend multiple bonfires/grill outs, saw some fireworks, played some yard games, got in a few naps. next weekend is my first full tourney of the season; i absolutely cannot wait!!!

little sports update:

• my wednesday night ladies team is still undefeated with only 4 more weeks to go! (well do have one tie but technically we have not been defeated) :]
• my tuesday night team which is new to me this year and is a throw together team from our high school, is actually doing rather well (despite having me on the team. i seem to get nervous or something and don't play up to my potential on this team but...) and it's a good time and fun to see some of these people that i haven't seen in a while.
• my monday night co-ed team was switched up a level this year and i don't think any of us are used to losing more then winning, but we are definitely now in the right level, we'll just have to step up our game. and we tend to really suck it up on the 915 games but...
• volleyball started out well then we had a bit of losing streak but turned it back around last week! however, we always have fun and laugh pretty much the whole time. i love those menardo's!!

kayli's wedding

holy crap it's been a long long time...

here is a little update blog with a mesh of some of the things i've been up to since feb. :) i have been very neglectful of my blog. but i have since moved home to minnesota, east side, started softball, lost 17 pounds, working out at lifetime again, etc...

went to my second year of the beer bust for johnny's tuesday night mens softball team with some of my favorite people in the world!! manda, kim, me and kunde

welcomed ellie may benysek into the world in march. she is such a peanut and so fricken cute. congrats again kris and jeff!!!

and my going away party from eau claire consisted of beaver days in a very small town in wisconsin with trina and nicole from my work, megan came down too. and met courtney, beave, melissa, katie, derek, ree, etc. such good times complete with beaver costumes!!!

well, it's official. as of april i will again be a minnesotan living in minnestoa!!! i'm excited to be back in the great state, but sad to leave a secure job and good friends. as of now, i am transfering to the stillwater menards and working in the garden center. however, seeing as how i am getting a huge cut in pay and have outdoor spring allergies, i don't think that will be lasting for very long.

i have adopted a new softball team this year (if it works out) and thus i will be playing 3 nights a week!! i'm really excited. i love softball time. good friends, exercise, grill outs, beer, sun, fun, competition... what more could i ask for?

i am moving back in with my mom for the fourth time (i wonder if she's sick of all my shenanigans yet?) but i am completely ok with it and hoping to pay off debt and save a bunch of money. oh yeah, and figure out what the heck i am gonna do with my life....

started my twice a week 2-a-days workouts this week (only have one day successfully completed, tuesday) but tomorrow is the second. i am really hoping to be in excellent shape for softball so i can hit harder, throw farther, and most importantly run faster :)
