2023 :: 18/52

 wednesday Tova and i ran some errands after bringing trevor to school. 

thursday was May 4th, star wars day! tova and i went to the gym at 9am. 

friday mom came down in the morning and went garage saling with tova, Al and me. we first went to our favorite church sale and got some good books, then when we came out, it was pouring rain and it didn't stop. Al and i ran to a couple more garage sales but the rain was bad so we headed home. at about 3 o'clock Matt and Jodi came to pick up Al and me for our adults only road trip night/day. we headed south with staying the night in winona in our sights. we stopped at the "welcome matt" in eau claire for a drink since none of us had been there and matt wanted to. we stopped at another little bar for a drink further along and jodi knew the bartender. she suggested we go to buck knuckles so we did. it took a bit to get there and there is essentially one road in and one road out in the hills and along the river. the bar was super cool and fun inside and they had the best burgers! they also had 1919 root beer on tap! Yum! then we headed to winona to find our hotel. the first 2 hotels we tried were full! we then found out that it was winona state's graduation weekend. we got upgraded to whirlpool suites. after getting unloaded into the hotel rooms, we went to island city brewery but then after 1 drink there we decided to go back to the hotel and hang out. we played some cards then went to bed. 

saturday morning, we had the continental breakfast, packed up then went garage saling for a bit. the first 2 garage sales we went to we awesome! great stuff and great prices! after a couple more, we went to a giant antique store in a super cool old building. then we were ready for a bloody mary and we found some delicious ones at mankato bar. then we decided to start heading towards home. we went to the stone barn for pizza and their opening weekend. we did get to stop at our favorite thrift store in durand but didn't find much. then we went to river bend winery in chippewa as we hadn't been there before. then we headed home. it was a great, busy, fast day but full of laughs and ease that we all needed!

sunday morning we got stuff done around the house, i left for the cities about noon. i went to my high school best friend megan's new house and got the tour and got to see her family. then megan and i went to our high school friend, arianna's baby shower. it was a good time and good to see those old friends again. arianna and chris loved the quilt i made them. then i headed for home about 5. al took the kids up to trev's soccer practice at his school. 

monday Al was back to work, trev to school, we had Rue, tova and i had jodi's then school. i had training for my new job right after jodi's almost until i had to pick up trevor from school. then i switched the kids summer clothes and winter clothes since it was going to be hot this week (too hot for may in my opinion.) 

tuesday was the same. i worked out at 530 once the kids were home and jackie came over to play with them.

2023 :: 17/52

 wednesday Al was off. we garage saled a bit, i worked out at noon, then had training at 1. 

thursday i had to drop my consignment sale stuff off at 10,  i garage saled before and after that, Al took tova garage saling. i worked out at noon, had training at 230, then got to shop early at the consignment sale at 630p. 

friday started Al's work weekend. tova and i went garage saling and went to a park with jodi, carsyn and some daycare kids. i worked out at noon. then we had dinner at matt & jodi's and Al came after work. 

saturday morning trevor had a soccer game at 1030, mom came down for the day to watch the game and hang out. it rained a bunch and during trev's game which it wasn't supposed to do. 

sunday the kids and i went to the workout and their friends were there too. then we went to the consignment sale for the half off day. they got some books and each picked out a clothing item. sunday night at 930 i drove to wausau to sit at the hospital with Althea and then bring her back to eau claire. we didn't get home until 3am. 

monday Al was off, trev had school, tova and i went to jodi's and then tov went to school. trev had karate at 430 in the same building that i had to pick up my consignment leftovers and checks between 4-6; so that worked great! Al helped Althea with some things and brought her back to wausau and helped her there before getting home about 8p. early bedtime for all of us. 

tuesday was Rue day, Al had training 8-4p, tova and i went to jodi's and both kids had school. then trev had soccer at 530; tova and Al stayed home.

 wednesday was rainy and tova stayed home one more day due to her strep and needing meds for 24 hours. i worked out at noon. 

thursday tova and i hung out at home for the morning and then she finally went back to school. 

friday Al was off, trev had school, tova was home. that night i got to get nachos with my friend Trina for supper! 

saturday trevor had a soccer game at 915 which just i went to since it was cold and rainy. then we packed up and headed up to mom's house. mom watched the kids for the night while we went to hang out with shane and jodi for shane's 40th birthday. jodi planned a couple surprises for shane including a big hang out in their garage. it was fun. brohmer and his wife katie came along with shane and jodi's families which we hadn't seen in a while. 

sunday we brought Luke with us to mom's house to see trev so he wouldn't have to sit out at henrik's football practice. then i met jodi halfway to drop Luke off before we headed home with some tired people. trev had soccer practice at 4pm at his school just up the road. 

monday Al was back to work, trev to school, tova and i to jodi's and then tov to school. i had training for my new job at 230 for an hour and trev had karate at 430 so tova got off the bus at jodi's house with carsyn. 

tuesday we had Rue, jodi's, school, work.

 wednesday was sunny and hot again. Al was off work, kids had school, i worked out at noon and walked outside with gym friends afterwards. carsyn got off the bus at our house since jodi had volleyball practice and matt had to run big kids to sports. 

thursday was sunny and hot again. after trev was at school, we went garage saling for a bit. i worked out at noon and walked afterwards again. we had supper at matt & jodi's (matt grilled) for Al's birthday supper. 

friday Al was back to work for the weekend. after trev was at school, tova and i had a girls day with jodi, carsyn and daycare kid vada. we went garage saling, to a park, and had lunch at mancino's. grandpa peter came over to hang with tova while i walked again at 2 pm. after i got trev from school, we went to the 430 workout and the kids friends were at the gym too for them to play with (cam and brooklyn.)

saturday it rained. i worked out at 915 and then cam and brooklyn came over to play for a bit. 

sunday it rained/snowed and it was Al's birthday. the kids and i just stayed home and cleaned and played and crafted. we ordered pizza for Al and made him an angel food cake. 

monday tova woke up at 1am with a fever so no jodi's and no school for her. trev had a 2 hour delay for school due to the snow/ice. tova was better during the day so after i got trev from school we went to a matinee of the mario movie we'd been wanting to see, at the theater. it was a good movie and we all enjoyed it and the popcorn! 

tuesday trevor had a field trip up to the cities to the orchestra and como zoo; he had to be to school early to make it there and back in time. we had Rue! i took tova in to our pediatrician to see about her fever and she had strep. she then stayed home with Al while i went and worked at jodi's and she had to stay home from school until she had meds for 24 hours.
