2022 :: 7/52

 wednesday it was finally a nice day out! i walked trev to school then ran some errands. once i was home, i took tova out back to play. then i worked out at noon and al played video games with his coworkers during nap time. after school pick up i chopped the ice on the driveway and then Al had to go to range 5-7p. 

thursday tova and i went to jodi's for the morning since she had 2 babies that day. 

friday Al was back to work for the weekend, trev had school. after school, the kids and i went to cassie, liam and elliott's house to play and have supper. we had fun but you could tell the kids were tired so we didn't stay too long. 

saturday morning i worked out, grandpa peter came to sit with the kids. 

sunday mom came down for the day. we went sledding at pinehurst and to play at the playground. it was fun, a little windy but not too bad. trevor had swimming lessons at 6p and Al had his first of 5 free workouts at my gym on sunday nights at 7, after work. he liked it but was super sore. 

monday Al was off, trev had school and tova and i worked at jodi's. 

tuesday trev had a snow day off from school, i worked out at noon, and we shoveled 3 times even though we only got about 4 inches.

 tuesday night Tova woke up with a high fever and didn't sleep well. wednesday she felt fine but did have a couple low grade fevers. we ran a couple errands but mostly stayed home. she didn't sleep well wednesday night either but had no fevers and again was feeling good. so we worked at jodi's on thursday while trev was at school adn Al was at work. 

friday morning i got up and shoveled the little bit of snow we got before taking trev to school. then Al went to get the new door for the edge from the salvage yard. he got it home and put it on before realizing it wasn't the right color gray... so he took it back off and put the old door back on for now. i worked out at noon. 

saturday morning trevor was supposed to have his science activity class through parks and rec but when we got there there was no teacher. mom was at our house by the time we got back. saturday night was Al's work christmas dinner/get together in bloomer. we left the house just before 5 and had cocktail hour for a while before we got to the dinner. we choose a small table off to the side in the banquet hall and ended up sitting with Al's lieutenant and a chief of police. they were very nice and supper was delicious. they gave out some gag awards and Al got one for backing into a coworkers car. after supper a lot of people left but some of the younger couples that we know stayed. the wives might have had a little too much to drink but we had fun; we danced and sang and hung out while our husbands laughed at us. 

sunday was super bowl sunday. we just relaxed all day and watched the game. 

monday was valentine's day (i forgot to get a picture of the kids in their valentine's gear.) trevor got to pass out valentine's to his class and tova and i had a party at jodi's. Al had work. grandpa peter came and hung out with the kids during supper so i could workout. 

tuesday tova and i ran errands in the morning, i worked out at noon. we had taco tuesday at matt & jodi's house for supper with margaritas. it was fun! kids had nachos and matt made taco salad bowls for the adults. i went and picked up Al once he was home and ready.

 wednesday AL was off, trev had school, i worked out at 6am and then tova had her dentist appointment to remove her front tooth at noon. her one top front tooth got jammed back up into her gums a while ago and that ended up killing the tooth so it has slowly been turning black/dark. the dentist said we'd keep an eye on it and that it was ok so far in previous appts but at this last one there was an infection in the tooth so it needed to be removed. tova had nitrous to relax her and then he numbed the area before pulling the tooth. tova did great!! she was awesome! so she'll be without that one front tooth for a while now until her adult tooth comes in probly not til she's 6.... she got 2 toys at the dentist for being so good and we stopped and got her and trev a fancy cookie from bloomer bakery. once home she laid down a bit but couldn't sleep with the tooth pain/un-numbing so she watched a movie while laying on the couch. after a couple hours she was good to go and got to put her tooth in the tooth fairy bag. we went over to matt & jodi's for supper and had lots of fun! 

thursday morning after school dropoff, tova, al and i went to durand to our favorite thrift store to get trevor's paper airplane valentine's that he wanted. we didn't find too much other stuff there. then i worked out at noon. the rest of the day was spent prepping for trevor's birthday the next day and his little birthday party. 

friday was trevor (and my) birthday!! number 8 for trev! he took treats to school and got to be the helper there. mom came down in the morning so i could workout at noon and to help with birthday stuff. at school i picked up trevor, liam and elliott and they came over for trevor's lego birthday party. they played legos, opened presents, played video games, had taco bell, and we had an ice cream sundae bar. trev had so much fun and their dad picked them up at 630. after kids bedtime, Al and i met matt, jodi, joe, emily, josh and kayla at the VFW for a couple drinks for my and jodi's birthday. we were home by 10 and had so many laughs!

saturday was jodi's birthday and the adults went ice fishing; we left about 730 am. we drove to stanley and stopped at a tiny bar/restuarant for breakfast and bloody marys which were delicious! we didn't get out onto the ice until 11 but it's probably good we didn't because it was windy and cold. we set up tip ups and then watched them from the car. we did each jig for a little bit but only Al lasted more than 15 minutes. Al caught a tiny bass and a perch and that's all we got. no flags up at all. :( so at 1 we packed up and bar hopped our way back to eau claire. we had to be back by 4 so mom could leave to go bowling. then at 6 i met trina and steph at wiscos for a drink and nachos; it was fun catching up with them since i haven't seen them in a while. 

sunday morning it was snowing and Al worked. grandpa peter stopped over to give trevor and me our birthday gifts. after lunch the kids had quiet time for a little bit before my dad and brother came down to deliver presents. we played games, opened presents and then they headed out. 

monday Al was off, trev had school, and tova and i didn't have work at jodi's (our days will be rotating a bit now with a new baby going there.) i worked out at noon. 

tuesday trev had school, tova and i worked at jodi's and Al ended up having court on his day off which was from 8a-2pm.
