2021 :: 12/52

tuesday it rained. trevor was back to school, tova and i went back to work at jodi's, and Al had another doctors appointment for his gout (he got daily pills to take now, and has to go back in a month.) 

wednesday was virtual school day and we just took it easy to try to heal. 

thursday trevor got a rash which signifies the end of his virus and that it was a virus. the nurses were not concerned about it at all (i sent pictures in.) after school, we laid low again trying to rest and recover. 

friday night jodi and i ran to a garage sale then we all had cancun for supper at our house. big kids played outside for a bit and got to play some video games. 

saturday morning we went to govins farm to hold the baby animals. matt, jodi and the kids came too. it was fun and we were early so it wasn't busy. the kids loved the animals. trevor got to do the new big slide and tova got to ride the ponies! we also got donuts and kettle corn that were delicious! then we headed home and nana came over. Al and i ran to the library and an estate sale at nap time. that night, Al and i went to jake and kassie's neighbors bar with matt and jodi, joe and emily, and a couple other people. it was a fun, chill night and we got home about midnight. sunday was super windy and chilly. we all packed up in the car and went to another estate sale and had intentions of going to a park but it was too cold so we took the kids into goodwill instead. nana bought tova candyland and nana and trevor taught tova how to play when we got back home. mom left after lunch; and we all napped except trevor. then it was play and clean up the house. 

monday started trevor's spring break from school and Al was back to work. the kids slept in until 8 am and we had a low key morning until we walked to trev's school playground about 10 and met jodi, her kids, and her daycare kids there. it was so warm out but a bit windy; we stayed there for over an hour and a half before walking home for lunch and nap/quiet time. during quiet time i got the rest of the consignment stuff priced, did some yoga, folded laundry, and read. then after nap and a quick snack, we went out back and played until supper time at 530. it was in the 70s but windy. the kids helped me with some of my yard projects and they played pretty well together, too. then we had supper, Al came home, i went for a quick walk, bath night and books & bed.

2021 :: 11/52

 monday we got snow but it didn't stick around long. it didn't start until after school pickup so that was nice but once it started it came fast. we got about 3 inches. i shoveled about 2 after kids were in bed then i went to jodi's to watch the bachelor finale. the rest of the snow had melted by the next afternoon on the roads and driveways; took a little longer on the grass. 

tova and i were at jodi's monday and tuesday morning as usual (my work.) kids played in the little bit of snow left on tuesday after school but it was so wet and sloppy that we didn't last long. 

wednesday was st patricks day and virtual school day. those naughty little leprechauns left a little obstacle course for the kids again and we had rainbow cereal with green milk. we all went to our favorite thrift store in durand in the morning and the kids got to pick out a few things. trevor found a new building kit and some books, tova found a button lacing pack and some books. we played outside after nap/quiet time and it was gorgeous out! then we went to matt & jodi's house for wings and green seltzers. :) 

thursday and friday were school days and hang out at home days. i cleaned, did laundry and played with tova. Al was off thursday and had to call in sick on friday because his gout was really flaring up on his 'good' foot. 

saturday the kids and i went up to mom's house for her birthday and Al worked (although he was in pain and spent the last part of his shift in dispatch with his foot up.) at mom's we played, played outside, opened presents, had chocolate chip cookie bars, had some unc-o time, had pizza for supper, and the adults played fast track once the kids were in bed. i also cleaned out some of mom's garage during nap time. 

sunday we headed home early because Al had to call in sick again due to the gout. Tova didn't sleep well at nana's house (allergies are starting already) and trevor didn't feel well once he got up. once we were home i took trevor's temperature and he had a low grade fever and a headache. i had lots of sinus pressure and a headache, and tova was stuffed up. so we had a very relaxing day just sitting around watching tv and playing games. we all took a nap (although trev didn't actually sleep) and then didn't do much else other than eat supper. trevor didn't eat much all day and his fever rose at night so he wasn't going to school the next day. 

monday it was gorgeous outside! trevor woke up feeling better and ate and was up playing all morning. Al had his podiatrist appointment and his ankle is doing good and even getting stronger/better so that he may be able to not wear the brace in a month or so. he had to make another appointment the next day for his gout with a different doctor. the kids and i did crafts and played with kinetic sand until lunch. at lunch i ran to the grocery store and got gas for the lawn mower. then still during nap/quiet time, i started raking (we have a tree that doesn't lose it's leaves until spring and it was SUPER windy on sunday.) Al took a while to get the lawn mower started but he finally did just as the kids were getting up. so he and trevor swept the whole yard, while tova played bubbles and i continued raking and bagging leaves. we got them all bagged! 14 bags! then we came inside since we were all sneezing (alleriges) and so i made supper and our veggies for the week. then it was bath time.

2021 :: 10/52

 tuesday was work at jodi's again for tova and i and we played outside for a long time because it was so nice out! 

wednesday was supposed to rain all day but it did clear up after nap so we did get outside for a bit. trevor did his school work, tova did her writing books, we did some crafts, and had a good relaxing day! that night we had wings at matt & jodi's house (Al came over after work.) 

thursday tova and i hung out at home after dropping trev off at school. 

friday Al was off work but he had court at 8am. it was the first time his court went longer than 2 hours and he didn't get home until 2ish. i had my massage at noon (gift card from jodi) so i had to last minute call grandpa peter to come sit with tova while she napped. the massage was great! then i came home, did school pick up, and we played outside for a bit before supper. then we started a new movie with the kids and had popcorn and jelly beans. 

saturday morning after breakfast, i went with jodi and her mom shopping for a bit. we walked around downtown chippewa falls (which we'd never done) and it was a nice time. came home for lunch, put tova down, and did some work for the consignment/garage sales. neither tova nor carsyn napped, so at 315 we all loaded up adn headed to menomonie to see Devil's punch bowl and then do a little hike. Devil's punch bowl was so cool and some of the waterfalls were still frozen. there wasn't much for trails there, so we drove back towards the highway and walked along the red cedar trail for a bit. towards the end, Al started getting a migraine so we headed home and picked up supper on the way (we were going to eat with the neighb's but ended up just eating at home.) Al didn't end up getting the headache part so we finished our movie after supper. 

sunday morning we had a nice slow, relaxing morning and trevor stayed in his pj's almost all morning. after lunch, i went hiking with my friends Trina and Steph and we did 3 miles at the jeffers trails which i hadn't done much of! it was fun; quiet and fast paced with no kids. then after nap, we played outside in the backyard until supper time. it was windy and a bit chillier but still fun. the kids got to drive the jeep for the first time this year.

 tuesday Trevor didn't have school due to conferences. mom stayed until lunch time and i started cleaning and organizing our basement and going through things for the consignment sale/garage sale. the weather got gorgeous this week; up into the 40s!! tuesday was really windy so we didn't go outside. 

wednesday was trevor's virtual school day so he did his assignments in the morning then we all went downstairs to work some more and play until lunch time. at noon tova had her 3 year pictures taken at cassie (liam's mom's) house and she did great. it was nice and quick! during naptime, i ran some errands, al and Trev played some video games, i worked more downstairs, trev had his meeting, and i worked out. then we went outside to play and ride bikes. the kids enjoyed it outside and loved the puddles. they got soaked so Al gave them a bath while i finished cleaning out the garage. after supper we played a bit then had a little movie night. 

thursday trev was back to school and tova had her 3 year checkup with dr sarumi. she did so good at the appointment and is in the 98% for weight and still off the charts for height. then home for lunch and nap and more work in the basement and workout before school pickup. while we were at the appointment, Al ran to the grocery store. after school, we played outside again and tova tried a real bike with training wheels for the first time and was a pro so fast! she was determined to do it and she took off! she was so proud of herself. then it was puddle jumping time again then inside for pjs since they were soaked. we did puzzles and puzzle books while Al made supper then after supper the kids played with magnatiles and trevor's new book he bought that shows him how to make stuff out of the magnatiles. 

friday Al was back to work for the whole weekend, trev went to school, tova and i ran a couple errands then went to jodi's to play for a bit. friday night we went to matt & jodi's house for supper. the kids had pizza and the adults had their hello fresh meal which was fantastic! jodi and i cleaned out and rearranged chloe's room to get carsyn's toddler bed in there. it was so much fun to rearrange! i just love doing that!

saturday morning the kids and i got our car washed then headed up to my dad's house so he could give tova her birthday presents. then we went to mom's for lunch and nap. after nap, we went hiking with jodi, luke, and henrik. it was snowy and muddy and puddly but we had fun. then we went to a playground by their house for a bit before heading back to mom's house for supper. mom went to bowling and after supper, tova got to open her presents from unc-o with unc-o. then it was bed time!

sunday morning it was so nice out again! we packed up and then played outside for a bit at mom's before heading home. after lunch and nap, the kids and i went with matt, jodi and the kids for a hike. it was snowy and muddy and wet but we had fun. the hiking trails aren't quite ready for hikes yet but it was so nice to get out. then we came home for supper. 

monday was back to school for trev (first time without snow pants in a long time!), jodi's for tova and me, and Al was off so he got some things done and got the oil changed. after nap and after school pick up, we went out back and pulled everything out of the shed. there were things in there i could sell and we got other things out like the slide, picnic table, and basketball hoops. the kids had fun and we stayed out until almost 6. we went out front for a bit too to ride bikes and scooters.
