2021 :: 6/52

 wednesday morning trevor and i ran some errands and he had his 7 year checkup with dr sarumi. we had fun and he got to pick out his snack at the grocery store and we ran into grandpa peter at aldi. then trev had lots of school work to do and his class meeting. he's off the charts still in height and 95% in weight (mostly due to his height.) he did get his flu shot and everything is great with him. 

it was still super cold out this week. thursday was back to school for trevor. 

friday was trevor's valentine's day party at school. tova, al and i ran to our favorite thrift store in durand in the morning to get out of the house for a bit. 

saturday morning we had a lazy morning complete with chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. then i ran with jodi to a craft shop and the amish store near there for snacks. saturday after nap, matt, jodi and the kids came over for a pizza night. the little girls played with snow, ice and water inside, and the big kids got to play wii games. 

sunday was valentine's day and my mom and brother came down for the day. trevor and i had set up a big hot wheels track by the time they got here so we played with that for a bit. then we played some cards, had lunch, tova took a nap, trev got to play more cards, then he, unc-o and dada played mario kart. mom and tyler left about 4ish. 

monday school was switched to all virtual due to extreme cold temps so trev stayed home all day. jodi had a bunch of kids stay home too so i didn't have to go over there to work. trevor had 3 online meetings throughout the school day and had a couple assignments on his school ipad. Al worked from home. 

tuesday was back to school for trev, back to jodi's for tova and me, and Al actually went in to work for a couple of meetings (i think he was happy to get out.) it was tova's valentine's day party at jodi's and we had fun!

2021 :: 5/52 :: Trevor's 7th birthday

 tuesday morning at jodi's she had a little birthday party for me and her (jodi's birthday is the day after mine.) we had cupcakes for snack and we each got flowers and wine from graham-burger. 

wednesday was the last nice/warm day we were gonna have for a while so we went sledding just before lunch. cam and chloe walked over to join us and liam, elliot and their grandparents came too. it was fun but tova ended up having a big meltdown and i had to put her in the car because she wouldn't stop crying/screaming so we weren't out there long. after naptime at jodi's was over (tova was still sleeping though) trevor and i went back to the sledding hill. jodi and her kids and daycare kids walked over too. 

thursday was trevor's birthday and school day. trevor brought books for each of his classmates along with "bookworms" (sour gummy worms.) then after school, we let trevor open a couple of presents from us one of them being a big keyboard. he was excited and played it for a while. then matt, jodi and the kids came over for birthday dinner and cake. trevor chose cancun (mexican) and we got a mario kart cake for him. we had fun but they didn't leave until 830 so the kids were up late for a school night. Thursday it snowed about 3 inches and then started a really cold spell for over a week. 

friday i had to wake trevor up at 730 for school. after school Trevor's school best friend, Liam, his little brother Elliott and their mom Cassie came over for a little play date for trev's birthday. Liam and Trevor are crazy wild together. i had little party favor bags for all 4 kids in hopes of keeping them entertained but they were still pretty crazy. we had a hot dog dinner and oreos for treats (things trevor loves and Liam can have since he's allergic to dairy.) the boys got to play mario kart for a bit at the end and it was nice to chat and have some wine with Cassie. they headed home about 7ish. 

saturday morning was family party time. mom came down, grandpa peter came over, and unc-o and grandpa neil came down. we did presents, played and had a taco bar. then we had cake and ice cream (which trevor requested we have cherries to put on top :]) mom stayed the night at our house and babysat saturday night while Al and i went with matt and jodi and jodi's parents to the garage bar we'd been to in january. jodi's sister in law (who lives next door to the garage bar), kassie came over too, and jenny and kyle stopped by later for a bit. we had fun but jodi got a bit too drunk and headed home about 11 and Al, who had to work the next day, got pretty drunk too. 

sunday was super bowl sunday. mom stayed until nap time, Al slept most of the day trying to get rid of his hang over, and i was super tired so we didn't do a whole lot. we did got to matt & jodi's for the game at 430 and came home at half time. 

monday was back to school for trev, back to jodi's for me and tova and Al was off. monday night shane came over and stayed at our house for his meetings in eau claire the next day. we had supper and watched a movie. 

tuesday was the same. Al and shane got to hang out for a bit between meetings but shane was gone by the time tova and i got back from jodi's after lunch.
