2020 :: 43/52

 tuesday Al was off and it snowed starting in the afternoon. i took tova with me to jodi's so Al could finish up winterizing the boat and get it in the backyard and covered before it snowed. once home, i put tova down for nap and ran to the grocery quick in hopes of picking up some more leaves before the snow came. but once i got back, the ground was already covered. after school & nap, we played outside in the snow until supper time. we shoveled the driveway and back patio, made snow balls, and pulled the kids in the sleds. the kids loved the snow! after bedtime, i shoveled once more so that Al could get out for work in the morning and then went to jodi's house to watch the bachelorette with her. it turned to rain while i was at jodi's so we didn't have to shovel again in the morning and some of the snow had melted by morning. we ended up getting 6.9 inches!! breaking snow records all over the place! 

wednesday was virtual learning day but not field trip day due to the snow. we did a bunch of crafts, trevor did great on his math and story writing homework, and had his virtual meeting at 2pm. 

thursday and friday were cold and school days. Al was off Friday. we ran some errands in the morning with Tova. 

saturday was our day to celebrate cam's birthday. matt, jodi and the kids came over just before lunch and stayed until bedtime. we played games, played kickball after the little girls napped (even tho it was freezing out), did a puzzle, ate supper, opened presents, and had lots of fun!

sunday was cleaning, playing and crafting. after nap, the risens came over again to carve pumpkins since we didn't get to it saturday night. we had supper with them and then an early bedtime because we were all tired!

monday morning was super cold! back to work for Al, back to school for Trevor, and back to work at jodi's for me and tova.

2020 :: 42/52

 monday morning was rainy so we drove to school and then tova and i went to jodi's. after nap, we walked to get trevor and then once home the kids played with water beads from jodi's house and we made an in depth halloween craft. 

tuesday i worked at jodi's house again in the morning. 

wednesday was chilly and a little rainy but we went to sherman creek to walk around for a bit between errands.  

thursday Al was off work but had a meeting 5-7pm. 

friday it snowed a little bit. 

saturday morning the kids and i drove up to mom's house; we actually stopped at my dad's for a while first. we just hung out at mom's until we headed home sunday morning. we enjoyed outside as much as possible as it's starting to get cold. 

monday was back to school and work for me. i took tova with me to jodi's so that Al could get leaves stuff done before the snow was supposed to come on tuesday. once home, i laid tova down for nap and went outside to work. i had to put everything in the shed and the porch, pick up leaves, burn the old shed pieces

2020 :: 41/52

 Al was off monday and tuesday, trevor had school and i worked at jodi's in the mornings. Al had court monday morning for work so i took tova with me on monday. monday after supper the wind finally died down so we raked leaves and played in the backyard until it got dark. 

tuesday morning, Al and Tova went to a garage sale, grandpa peter's and swept up the leaves in the yard with the riding mower while i worked at jodi's. 

wednesday Al worked so the kids and i did field trip wednesday to irvine park. the bridge and leaves were gorgeous!! the animals were playful, we got to play on the playground for a bit, watched the tons of ducks, and did a bit of a nature walk. After nap, the kids and i went out to jenny's house quick to pick apples. trevor was excited to pick apples since he didn't get to last time. 

thursday was garage saling and house work. 

the weekend was gorgeous!! friday morning trevor and i ran to a garage sale where he found some toys for 25 cents each. then we all took the boat out to lake altoona, near our house. the boat never made it off the dock because it was leaking gas again (out the other side this time.) but we still had fun. there's a playground there, we visited the little fishing dock and beach even though the water was freezing, then headed home for lunch. we played out back after lunch and even ate supper outside. 

saturday morning we all packed up and headed to lake wazee to hike with matt, jodi, cam, chloe, carsyn, kassie, kade and kinsley. it was SO gorgeous! the leaves were at peak; even the drive was amazing! the kids had fun; we brought 2 carriers and kinsley ended up in one for the first time and she loved it! we even caught a gartner snake. we hiked over 2 miles before heading back towards home for wood fired pizza at fosters (which we hadn't been to in a long time.) we ate outside and brought picnic blankets, folding chairs and the kids folding table. it was fun and so nice out! then home for naps for the little ones. mom came down and met us at home when we got there. during tova's nap, jodi, mom and i ran to some garage sales and some errands. once tova was awake, all 5 of us drove over to river prairie park and walked around just before dark and it was stunning! then home for bed for the kids. then Al and i went to matt & jodi's for a bonfire until 11ish. 

sunday morning we went to a couple garage sales and then stopped at the cool playground and nature path on the south side. it was much chillier but still nice to be outside. mom left at naptime.
