2020 :: 8/52 :: Trevor's first lost tooth!

trevor only had school Monday-Wednesday this week. Al was only off Wednesday & Thursday.

Monday morning tova and I went to Jodi's to play. Monday night grandpa peter came to sit with tova until Al got home from work while trevor and I went to our first parent/child basketball practice. it was so fun and we laughed a lot. he's gotten much better at dribbling and I haven't completely lost my dribbling skills.

overnight Monday we got about 2 inches of snow. after drop off, tova and I ran a couple errands then came home and shoveled. it got much colder throughout the day on Tuesday so we drove for pickup and stayed inside.

Wednesday was super cold!

Thursday was trevor's conference at 1pm; I went to that and he's still doing great at school and even focusing better! Thursday night, Al felt trevor's tooth and said he could pull it out. trevor said go for it so Al pulled out trevor's first tooth! T was so excited!!! the tooth fairy gave him "a whole buck!" :)

Friday the kids and I drove up to the cities for the weekend. after nap, mom and I took the kids bowling since she had free passes. trevor had a blast and tova was over it once she finished her chips and salsa. :) Friday night after bedtime I went over to manda and johnny's houses to visit, see their new kitchen and pick up girl scout cookies.

Saturday morning mom and I took the kids sledding at a park in woodbury where I used to sled as a kid. my dad and brother stopped by too. we had fun!! then we had lunch with unc-o at noodles n company. then tova napped at mom's house while trevor and I drove to eau Claire for graham's birthday party at the children's museum. then we drove back to the cities. while we were at the children's museum I got word that my 102 year old grama died. :( we're really gonna miss her; trevor really loves GG! Saturday night once the kids were in bed, Caitlin, mom's neighbor, came over and mom and I went out for a drink to where my cousin maren was bartending. it was a dual duty drink: to celebrate grama and check up on how maren was doing with the news since she had no family in town. maren made me my first brandy alexander and it was delicious!!

sunday morning we all went over to maren's house for the day. I made sure maren got her quilting done, 4 of the 5 kids and I started shoveling off their deck so they could play on it (it was gorgeous out on sunday), we ate lunch and supper there, mom had a conference call with all 6 of her siblings to discuss grama's funeral (it'll be on march 21st), and we played.

Monday morning we packed up and then the kids and I went to my chiropractor in the cities to get adjusted since trevor and I had our free birthday adjustments. then we headed home for lunch and naptime with Al. it was really nice out Monday too so after nap we all walked to grandpa peter's house where I left the kids and Al. I went for a little walk then back home to finish laundry and pack myself to head back up to the cities after bedtime so that I could go with mom up to pack up grama's room the next day.

2020 :: 7/52

Al was off Monday & Tuesday. Monday I had my first group workout class at the new "gym" at noon and I liked it but am very out of shape! Al had court at 2pm but was home in time for me to walk to get trevor and not have to take tova out in the cold.

Tuesday morning Al and tova went to grandpa peter's house while I worked on my consignment stuff. Tuesday night we went to cancun with matt, Jodi, cam, chloe and Carsyn in the first time in forever! it was fun!

Wednesday morning, Tova and I went to jenny's house to play. jenny offered to cut tova's hair so we went for it; she ended up cutting off a couple inches (from the longest hairs) to even it all out. tova sat great and even got her hair curled like klare's. the girls had fun but tova was ready to go before it was even time; I think she's teething (2 year molars).

Thursday morning was the valentine's day party at Jodi's house so tova and I went and had fun! the kids got to do a heart hunt, snack, craft, play and lunch. Thursday was super super cold outside! we did some valentine's day crafts after school and played with play-doh since the kids got new doh from Jodi.

Al was off Friday-sunday. Friday was valentine's day! trevor got to have a valentine's day party in his class and it was love lunch week so I went and had lunch with him (and 175 other parents on Friday alone, luckily each grade eats at a different time.) he was adamant that I actually eat lunch with him this time; usually when I go I just hang out with him & his friends while they eat. so I made us heart shaped peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, heart shaped strawberrys and some chex mix. I also made trevor a special heart shaped rice krispie bar with sprinkles to surprise him with. after school we played, had family dinner, and watched a movie.

Saturday trevor had swimming lessons at 830. afterwards we went into Chippewa to pick up a free blender. we then drove downtown Chippewa falls and Al & trevor ran in to the meat shop they like and got ring bologna that trevor's been asking for and cheese curds. I also got to run into a cute little shop I've been wanting to go into for a while. we then stopped at the bakery outlet by our house that we have yet to go into. after nap we played outside for a bit but it was colder than it looked outside and the snow wasn't good playing snow, so we didn't last long.

sunday morning after breakfast trevor and al went to run some errands and tova and I went to have her 2 year pictures taken with trevor's friend Liam's mom cassie. it's so nice cuz she lives really close to us and our other photographer lives half and hour away. tova did good but she does have a mind of her own :) I brought marshmallows to bribe her with and cassie had a little stuffed shark that played "baby shark" so that was key too. we got more pics than I was expecting; can't wait to see them!
