2019 :: 51/52

 Tova pooped on the potty for the first time this week!! she loves to say "one mo time" even though she never means only one more time.

this was trevor's last week of school for the year and Al's last 5 night shifts!!!

Monday morning tova and I ran some errands then went to Jodi's house to play and do some crafts. after school pickup, we did some more Christmas crafts!

Tuesday after dropping trevor off, tova and I drove to the cities for my high school best friend, Megan's dad's funeral. mom watched tova while I went. we made it home just in time to get our snow stuff on and walk to get trevor from school.

Al was off Wednesday and Thursday so we spent time at home and getting things done in prep for Christmases.

Friday was trevor's last day of school until the new year; tova and I went to the children's museum; Al started his last weekend/last 3 night shifts!!

Saturday morning the kids and I headed up to the cities; we hung out at mom's house Saturday day. I ran to my cousin maren's house and to see papa during nap time.

sunday was brown Christmas (my dad's extended side) at my cousin sara's new house. mom, the kids and I went early to see her and her parents a little longer. tova napped there and we had fun with the family. after bedtime, I went to my cousin aryn's house for ping pong since her mom, auntie cindy was in town for Christmas.

Monday morning we headed home, woke up Al, got a lot done during naptime, then had grandpa peter, althea, tad, bladen and liam over for a little oleson Christmas. supper was delicious and liam and trevor had so much fun together as usual. we opened auntie molly's presents at that time too. then we watched the Vikings/packers game at home.

Tova peed on the potty for the first time this week!

this week was snowy or COLD!! Al was off Monday & Tuesday and then the weekend. it snowed Monday, was super cold Tuesday and Wednesday, snowed Thursday morning

Monday tova and I got our errands/returns done before the snow came. although we did end up doing a donut in the parking lot at the post office; thankfully that was the last stop and it had just started to snow.

Tuesday and Wednesday we stayed home/in and got some little things done. trevor didn't get to have recess outside and I even had to drive to pick him up on Wednesday (first time for pick up.)

Thursday morning we went to Jodi's to play and she brought some snow inside for the kids to play with. during nap time I shoveled and then I pulled tova to school in the sled to pick up trevor. Thursday night Tova slept awful, she was up every hour to hour & a half and had complained about her ears. because of that and the fact that she was on week 5 of being sick, I brought her in to the pediatrician Friday morning. the doctor said she had an "awful" double ear infection. Since tova has had amoxicillin 3 times since September, the dr prescribed a stronger antibiotic.

once Al was awake I went to run my bunch of errands before the weekend including picking up Tova's meds so we could get 2 doses in her that day. it snowed about an inch Friday early evening. Tova slept much better Friday night.

Saturday morning we all got up bright and early and headed to the cities for our annual winter wonderland in oakdale with my softball friends. we got there by 9 and we had fun. this is our 9th year going (I started going with meg and her twins and manda and baby eva 9 years ago.) it wasn't too cold and we did our horse drawn wagon ride picture and caroling. then to nana's house for a nap. then we went to Kunde and matt's house for their annual ugly sweater party which now includes kids. we had fun, ate, played games, laughed and got back to nana's house about 10p (both kids still awake, of course.)

sunday morning we headed home, unpacked then relaxed and napped and watched football.
