Monday was very rainy. we drove trevor to school then went to Walmart. we got soaked on the way out of Walmart. sunday night tova woke up crying every hour but seemed fine in the morning. her nose was very runny tho, but she only coughed when she laid down.
Wednesday morning once tova was up she was very whiney and said "ear hurt" and poked at her left ear. so after I dropped trevor off for school, I took her in and sure enough she had an ear infection. Al was off wed and thurs so we had lots of family time since it was cold (high in the 40s.) I picked trevor up from school at noon, Jackie came over after lunch to sit with tova while she napped, and the other 3 of us went to our dentist appointments up in bloomer. trevor and I have the same hygienist and Al went at the same time. no cavities for any of us. trevor's teeth look good and are starting to get loose/wiggly. I had the panoramic x rays for the first time and apparently I have huge sinuses that go down past the roots of my top molars and a larger than normal bone in my jaw. (and I have huge tonsils, too...) we went for wings and big mac & cheese for supper at the airport.
Trevor had no school Thursday or Friday. Thursday morning trevor slept until almost 9. then after a slow morning, all 4 of us went to a couple garage sales then home for lunch. Jackie came over again after lunch to sit with the kids while we went to trevor's conference with his teacher. it was fast but trevor's doing great! he's good at math and literacy and loves to build things during choice play. he needs to work on safe play when playing outside (which i'm aware of since I see him and Liam constantly hitting and wrestling when I walk for school pickup.) we did some more crafts, ate supper, then once it was dark we drove over to the house with lights and music. trevor said it was so cool and tova liked it. then home for bath and books and bed.
Al worked all weekend. Friday morning the kids and I drove up to mom's house. we played outside in the leaves some, then after nap, we all went to maren's house for supper and to play.
Saturday morning we went to our annual Halloween parade in cottage grove. it was windy but sunny and beautiful. it's a great little parade and the kids loved picking up the candy and waving. during nap, unc-o and grandpa neil came to mom's house to see trevor. then after nap, we went back outside to play in the leaves with unc-o. Saturday night mom had bowling and trevor had an awful night of whining, crying etc that drove unc-o to want to leave. so it was early bedtimes.
sunday morning we headed home, saw Al a little bit before work, then after nap we went outside and raked, jumped in the leaves, played and filled our pumpkin leaf bags. trevor was a great helper and tova loved holding the bags. we played outside for a long time (until supper) because it was so nice out and the cold was coming.
