2017 :: 38/52

Trevor's fever went away Monday night but then when I bathed him I saw bites on his foot and he had bumps on his chin and cheek too, so I deduced that he had hand-foot-mouth disease. but he felt better after Monday and supposedly it's only contagious during the fever or more.

Wednesday trevor had soccer again and he did great again. more games and dribbling and scoring. it was a beautiful night for soccer. it got hot again the end of the week and the weekend, like high 80s and humid, so we stayed inside a lot. but Al did work on the windows a little bit each day that his work schedule allowed and Thursday we played outside with him. Trevor painted some more rocks, played with his cars/'chines in the rocks/dirt, and then had a car wash for them.

Friday morning T and I went over to Jodi's house to run through the sprinkler/swim with the kiddos. then friday night we went over to matt and Jodi's house for a pizza/game/movie night with them, their kids, Kassie, jake, kade, Kinsley, leah, jedd and their 4 kids. leah's youngest cole is 4 so he and trevor like playing together. it was a good night and Al came over for a bit after work before we left for bedtime.

Saturday trevor and I didn't get out of our pajamas until supper time when matt, Jodi, cam and chloe came over. we ordered Chinese food and played games. once Al was home from work, we went downstairs and introduced the kids to super Mario brothers and Mario kart!! it was fun, the kids enjoyed Mario, but we stayed up too late. :) trevor didn't get to bed until 1015pm...

sunday morning grandpa peter came again to help with the windows and then T and I headed up to mom's at 11am. we watched the Vikings game while eating lunch, then T went down for nap during which uncle and nana came home from their gallivanting. we had softball at 6 & 7 thankfully so it could cool off a little and the sun went down. we played the team that our friends are on so it was fun and we won both. Al, Gpa Peter and matt got all the windows in!

Monday morning T and I drove home early from a rainy, cool st paul to a hot, humid eau Claire. Al and Gpa Peter were already working on the windows and by nap time they had all the outdoor trim on!!!

2017 :: 37/52

this week trevor started soccer; it's Wednesday nights for 4 weeks. he did great at soccer, was a good listener, a good friend and kept his hands to himself! he was so cute in his cleats, chin guards and soccer socks. Wednesday morning was beautiful so we went to the apple orchard again to play and get some apples.

Thursday morning we met Jodi and the kids for a little walk after they dropped cam off at school, then played at Jodi's house until lunch. then Thursday night Jodi, me and the kids had dinner at cancun.

Friday morning our inspector/contractor Pete came over to help show Al how to put in the new windows, so they got the old window out then pete left and Al did some work on the window opening. I dropped T off at Jodi's while I went to a consignment sale, then I picked up T and Chloe and they ran through the sprinkler. we had lunch, watched a show, matt picked up chloe and I put T down for a nap. then Al and I got the new window in before he had to work at 7pm.

Saturday morning T and I got out of the house so we didn't wake Al up. we went to a garden center that had exotic animals, pumpkin painting, and we bought some small pumpkins. then we went out to weavers to get mums and pancake mix. then we came home, dropped our stuff off, went potty, then we went to the farmers market to get some little gourds. then home for lunch and nap. T woke up from nap with a fever and had a fever until really tuesday. so we didn't do much Saturday night.

sunday morning, mom, tyler and grandpa peter came to help with the windows. it was a slower process than we had hoped so we only got one window in by the time tyler and I had to leave for softball. mom and T headed back to her house after lunch so T could nap and relax (his room windows were the ones we were working on). we played our 2 softball games; we lost but had good games. we slept at mom's house then headed home to Al and Grandpa peter to help with the window stuff. Al was off Sunday and Monday and worked at 3 on Tuesday. by Tuesday morning we had the bathroom window, trevor's room 2 windows, and the big window in mom's room/the baby's room in and the inside stuff done except for the trim which will come later. Al got the outside part prepped and cut before he had to go to work on Tuesday. it rained almost all Monday afternoon/night so that put a damper in our progress.

2017 :: 36/52 :: Door County

this week we had nice weather so we spent some time outside and also ran errands and packed for our trip to door county with pat, kristy, and billy again.

Friday morning we drove to door county. we stopped in Wausau to see grandpa peter, pee and get lunch, then we also stopped at Maplewood meats just outside green bay for Al. we got to door county, drove to the condo in egg harbor, unloaded our stuff, then went adventuring for a bit until pat, kristy, and billy would be there. we drove further north up the coast since we didn't do that last time; we stopped in the town of Ephraim (Al's middle name), found a beach and a playground there to play at. on the way back to the condo we stopped at a custard place that we'd seen had a playground and we were able to buy popcorn to feed the ducks. once back the dixons were there so the boys played, we unpacked, made supper, and hung out til bed time (early since T didn't nap).

Saturday morning we went to Al Johnson's for breakfast which is a Swedish restaurant with goats on the roof. after that we went to peninsula park and explored for a bit. the boys eventually waded in the water, T got down to his undies since we didn't have a change of clothes with for him. they loved it but the water was chilly. we got to see a really cool, big sail boat out on the water, and the boys loved playing on the playground together. then we went back to the condo for lunch and naps. after nap, we went swimming in their heated pool and hot tub! it was wonderful! we had awesome weather the whole weekend but it didn't get over 73 degrees so it would have been chilly to swim without heated water (the wind was a bit chilly once we were wet). then the Dixon's made dinner, the boys played and watched a movie, then bed time.

sunday morning Al cooked breakfast and Pat got nummy donuts. then we went exploring again, this time to cave point park first where it was beautiful!! the beaches were rocky so the trevor and billy (srevor and biwwy) through rocks in and liked jumping over the logs on the path. then we went to whitefish sand dunes state park where we walked almost a mile to the pet beach since we had their dog, dash with us. the beach was beautiful and the water was wavy which the boys loved. they waded again and ran around until it was time to walk back for lunch. billy fell asleep on the ride home and T was super tired so they napped before lunch. during nap, kristy and I went into town for sandwiches and tea. when the boys woke up, they ate and we went swimming again. for supper everyone but me went for a fish boil (my tummy was hurting and I was stuffed). then the Dixon's packed up and headed out, while we went to bed.

Monday morning we cleaned up, packed, ate breakfast and waited for the sheets to be washed then took off. we stopped at a store i'd been wanting to stop at and they had delicious treats, samples, fudge, and cute décor. we bought some stuff, played outside for a bit then hit the road. we had lunch in Wausau at Panera so we got to see auntie althea, peed at grandpa peter's house then drove the rest of the way home. Al napped in the car, but T and I didn't so we took a nap once home. then I unpacked a bit, and we headed over to eat and watch the Vikings game with matt and the kids.

Tuesday morning our windows got delivered!!! and we all 3 ran to sam's club for groceries. then T and I walked over to Jodi's house to play and then walk down to the bus stop for chloe and kade's first day of 4K then we walked home for nap. we all napped since Al works overnights all this coming week. :(

gah, i'm so much bigger this time around, wish I would have worked on my abs more inbetween and not started this one with a gut....
