2016 :: 47/52 :: Thanksgiving

Monday night, Trevor and I went to the neighb's for friendsgiving dinner. there was a lot going on; it was busy, lots of people, and some drama. but it was good food and friends!

Tuesday we stayed in because it snowed into Wednesday. Wednesday mom came down during nap time to get prepped for thanksgiving. we got some crafting done.

Thursday was thanksgiving; grandpa peter came up in the morning and we ate about 1230. we did some more crafting and looking through the black Friday ads.

Friday mom and I ran to jcpenneys for a little bit and grandpa peter and Al ran to best buy during nap time (grandpa peter went to fleet farm at 5 am before we were awake and got trevor a koala stuffy for being one of the first in line). we packed some, crafted some, and played; grandpa peter (peed-o) left during nap time.

Saturday morning, mom, trevor and I headed up to the cities, stopped at her house and then went up to uncle ronny and auntie polly's house for lefse day. it was a great lefse day and we got to play with lots of our cousins. we headed back to mom's about 630 because T didn't nap. then mom put him to bed I went over to dad/papa's house to play ping pong and catch phrase with dad, tyler, auntie cindy, auntie lynne, uncle munk, tammy, seth, and Tessa. it was fun and I was back to mom's at 1030.

trevor slept in until 9 am on sunday morning! then it was get up and go to papa's 90th birthday party where Trevor was the hit of the old people's church and the party. got to see all our aunts and uncles and great aunts and great uncles. then back to mom's quick for lunch and headed home to ec for nap. sunday night we pulled out our Christmas stuff and put up our tree (which is tiny in our big house!)

Monday morning, trevor and I ran to target and aldi, then stopped at Jodi's to play and have lunch for Chloe's actual birthday. Al worked 2p-11p so we barely got to see him.

2016 :: 46/52

Tuesday morning I had a dermatology appointment at 8 am so I dropped Trevor at Jodi's and went. it was to look at the mole on my face and once I met with the doctor he said, "let's just take it off" so I said, "ok." so he removed my mole that I've had forever (I've had removing on my mole on my goals list for 2016 so it wasn't spur of the moment for me, but still weird to not have it.)

after the doctor, me and my bandaid face went to get T and Jodi's house. we stayed and played a bit, did a craft, then went home. once home we went outside and raked the front yard (before it snows this weekend). T rode bikes and even rode his big boy pedal bike for a while (the longest he ever has) but did need my assistance in pushing him ever so slightly. then in for lunch with dada and nap; he finally fell asleep good for nap and was out in 20 minutes! Al and I worked out during nap and then I walked over to Jodi's house so I could watch the kids while matt had a work conference call. I walked to get Cam from school with Chloe, Easton and baby Evrett in the stroller and then walked back. I hung out with the kids until 430 when matt was done and then walked fast/ran a little home to help Al finish raking the back yard. when I got home, Trevor was pedaling his trike in the back yard like a pro!

Wednesday night we had our new baby sitter, Sam (daughter of my favorite high school math teacher), watch Trevor for the first time while Al and I went out to dinner and drinks with Matt and Jodi. we went to olive garden for supper and then to infinity beverages for wine/spirit tasting and a drink. it was a great night and Trevor did good, no crying when we left and Sam said no issues.

Thursday we played outside a ton since it was going to be the last nice fall day.

Friday morning we went for a walk early before the rain was supposed to start but got rained on during our walk. then we went up to mom's house for lunch, nap, and waited for maren and tula to come over. mom watched trevor and tula while maren, auntie polly, auntie judie and I picked out fabric for our next quilt (kai and brett's). it did snow a little bit but not much, but a very late first snow.

Saturday morning, Trevor and I in our car, and mom in her car, drove back to eau Claire. after getting home and unpacking, we took Trevor over to Jodi's house to be watched with cam and chloe by Jodi's cousin Sydney while mom, Jodi and I went to a ladies day at green oasis with Christmas décor on sale and crafty vendors. after that we picked Trevor up for nap and dropped Jodi off, put Trevor down (he did fall asleep!), then mom and I ran to the shed again to grab a couple more things. we had Al wake trevor up because right when we got back we needed to leave to go to thaeden's birthday party at the university. it was a gymnastics party and Trevor had a lot of fun (once he started listening to the teachers and following directions). we came home for a bit to see Al before work, then went to cancun with the neighb's.

sunday morning T, mom and I crafted a bit and ran to joann fabrics. then after lunch mom left and T and I went to Chloe's gymnastics (same place as thaeden's) party where T was a pro! then home for a short nap while I watched the Vikings game. Al worked 3p-11p after not getting home until 550am that morning. T and I got stuff done around the house, bath, then bed.

Monday morning we did breakfast, crafts, then ran to the grocery store for thanksgiving groceries! we dropped the groceries off at home than drove over to Jodi's house to give chloe her birthday present that we forgot to bring to the party and play a little bit until lunch time. during nap I raked our front yard again because it had been super windy and all the neighbor's leaves that they didn't pick up ended up in our yard; so frustrating!
